We all had a wonderful time preparing for Halloween and carving our pumpkins. The park is beautiful and has a great tot lot where little ones could work out some energy before carving their pumpkins. The weather was incredibly warm! Here a few select photos of the event.

6th Annual Scavenger Hunt in San Francisco

It was a beautiful day in San Francisco for our 6th annual Scavenger Hunt. About 400 au pairs from all over Northern California participated. We had a great time seeing friends and making new ones. Thank you for the kind emails letting me know how much you enjoyed this event!

At our August meeting, we enjoyed a combination German and American camp fire. In Germany, where they love their bread - they wrap bread dough on a stick and roast it over an open fire and then enjoy it hot off the stick.

Summer Fun with Au Pairs & Host Families
We had a great time together eating, face-painting to support the orphanage in Africa and then finished the afternoon off with a water balloon toss!

Three of my friends and I decided to make a weekend trip to Las Vegas. We arrived on Friday in the evening, did a tour to the Grand Canyon on Saturday and flew back home on Sunday in the middle of the night. Although it was just a weekend, we left with unforgetable impressions.
